China University of Petroleum

China University of Petroleum (East China) is located in Qingdao, Shandong Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is jointly built by the Ministry of Education and five major energy enterprise groups, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Shandong Province. It is a national "Double First-Class" and "211 Project" key construction university, a member of the High-level Industry Characteristic University Quality Resource Sharing Alliance, and has been selected as the 985 Project Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform, the 111 Project, the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, the National Graduate Employment Typical Experience University, the National Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform Demonstration University, and the China-Russia Engineering University Alliance. It is an important base for the cultivation of high-level talents in petroleum and petrochemicals, with a graduate school and a national university science and technology park.
